Lewis Wolf born in 1804 in Tennessee, died in Kentucky in 1876. His father Lewis Wolf, Sr brought him and the rest of the family to the Kentucky frontier and settled in the Crooked Creek area in the early 1800s. This is an old monument Minnie Mae
(Miller) Vessing and I found on an expedition into our history. Overgrown and not on any Kentucky Historic Cemetery listing; it needs to be documented and reported.

As I collect a bit here & a bit there, it eventually will provide an “ah hah!” moment and then I am off to doing the connecting research.
I travel a lot, and stop along the way in a court house here, a court house there ... gathering pertinent backup documents. I also use Ancestry.com a lot!

Recently a number of Martins & Millers descended on the Berry Days Festival & spent the day talking about family as they all trace back to the same Martins, Wolfs & Millers. A great time, thanks to all.
